Sense supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind or have sensory impairments and have been doing so for over 60 years. Deafblindness refers to a combination of sight and hearing impairment which causes difficulties in a range of areas including communication, access to information and mobility.

Sense offer high-quality, flexible services across the UK, using skilled staff and a dedicated network of volunteers. They work with a wide range of people who are deafblind or have sensory impairments, as well as those who have a single-sensory impairment with additional needs.

Sense take pride in offering services built around the wishes of each person they support and enabling them to be as independent as possible, helping people of all ages to achieve remarkable things.

Shaw Trust is a national charity that helps people facing disadvantage into work, gain skills and take control of their futures. Over the past 30 years, the Trust has striven to combine its charitable heart with its commercial brain to provide the very best support to the people it was set up to serve.

Shaw Trust deliver both mainstream (Work Programme) and specialist (Work Choice) employment support schemes across Britain and help over 50,000 people per year. The charity also helps people gain skills and into work via a wide range of other activities including education and skills contracts, 49 shops and a national volunteering programme as well as health and social enterprise projects.
